Chapter 4 // Even though for now we've gotta say goodbye I know you will be forever in my life

* Note to Readers this will be all in Andrew Peters POV *

I got up that morning and all I could think about was LC, she is my best friend and no matter what happens today, how much I will miss her. I looked at my phone as my Agent had called me, I immediately called him back as he had good news for me.

"Petey... I have some amazing news for you." My Agent had said.

"Awesome, what is it?" I asked.

"I just got you a one year two-way deal for the Florida Panthers." He said.

"Really? That is good news, When should I head down there?" I asked.

"As soon as possible, I set up a house for you." He said.

"Ok, I can be there tomorrow." I said.

"Ok I will be setting up everything." He said.

"Ok bye." I said.

I hung up and immediately thought of LC and how will I tell her. I knew I had to go over there now and get it out to her. I got up and walked over as I walked in. She was sitting with Pat and Beth drinking coffee as I sat down.

"Hey Petey..." They said.

"I have some news to tell you." I said looking at them.

"What is it?" Beth asked.

"I got signed with the FL Panthers in South FL." I said as LC started to get upset.

"Congrats bud!" Pat said as he hugged me.

"Congrats Petey." Beth said as she hugged me.

"Congrats." LC said in a lower tone.

"Thanks guys." I said.

"I am throwing you a party tonight, we will grill and hang out for your last night here. Invite some of the guys tonight and have some fun." Pat said.

"Awesome thanks bro." I said.

"Beth do you want to come to the store with me and get Hot dogs and hamburgers, chips and everything else we need?" Pat asked her.

"Sure, lets go." She said as they both headed toward the store.

"LC, please talk to me." I said.

"I just don't want you to go." She said crying.

"I know, but you knew I was going to go, I wish I didn't have to, you have no idea how much its making me upset that I have to leave you." I said hugging her.

"I really will miss you. I am happy for you." She said.

"I will miss you too." I said.

I looked at her and knew I had to tell her tonight, this was my shot to let her know I love her. Pat and Beth had come back from the store as I laughed. Beth was yelling at Pat for putting extra shit in the cart which made that funny. I had headed home to grab my bag for the night as well as I made LC a quick CD and one of my favorite songs on there which was Never Gone by Backstreet Boys since that is exactly how I feel about her. Pat came over and helped me back while the girls called up everyone.


"What are you doing bro?" Pat asked me.


"Nothing just doing a few things." I said.


"Are you going to finally tell LC that you love her?" He asked me.


"What? I have no idea what your talking about." I said covering for myself.


"Petey , drop the act, we all know your in love with LC, everyone sees it." He said.


"I am not, she is my best friend and that is all." I said taking the CD out and putting it with the overnight bag.


"Sure she is." Pat said as I rolled my eyes.

We packed up some of my stuff as  I left it by the front door. I grabbed the CD and my overnight bag and headed back to Pat's house. LC was changed already into the bathing suit and looking absolutely gorgeous. There was no way I could hide my love for her any longer..

She looked amazing. I got into my bathing suit and joined her. I threw her into the pool with me as we hung out. Everyone started coming over, Miller, Tyler Myers with his girlfriend Jessica, Andrej Sekera,with his girlfriend Gina, Nathan with his girlfriend Heidi, and a few other teammates of course. It was definitely a good time while Pat started the grill. I got out and headed up to LC's room. I grabbed the CD and laid it on the dresser.

I couldn't keep my eyes off LC. I love her more than anything in this world. She got out and came to lay on the lounge chair with me. Pat started up cooking as we hung out. A few hours had passed by as we got all in the pool , I of course threw LC a few times in the pool and she cracked up laughing.  We had food as we sat by the bonfire. Of course LC told the story when she first met me, when she came to visit Beth and Pat here....

I came into Pat's house to find an unknown girl in the house. I walked in as I said hey to Pat. 

"Hey Bro." I said to Pat.

"Hey Petey." He said.

"Petey!" Beth said.

"Hey girl how are you?" 

"Good, this is my sister Lauren, but we call her LC, LC this is Andrew Peters, also known as Petey." Beth said.

"Nice to meet you LC." I said extending my hand.

"Nice to meet you too." She said smiling at me. 

She was so gorgeous and most importantly she has the most beautiful smile ever. I know she is only 17 , but for some reason I find myself so attracted to her. She got up as I watched her walk away toward the kitchen. 

"Hey Petey." She said smiling and sweet.

"Hey LC, what are you doing?" I asked trying to not be too nervous.

"Nothing just making a sandwich do you want some?" She asked.

"Sure, I would love some, what kind are you making?" I asked.

"Turkey with some bacon and mayo." She said.

"I would love some, like a turkey club right?" I asked.

"Of course. Do you want lettuce and tomatoes? " She said.

"Sure. I had Pat's before, let me tell you, I would rather eat jalapenos straight from a jar. It was that bad." I said as she laughed.

She had the cutest laugh ever and I couldn't wait to get to know her. 

"That is funny, but you never tried mine because mine is better." She said fixing it up.

"Aww I can't wait to try it." I said as I put my hand on my head. "Sorry that came out so wrong." 

"Don't worry about it. I heard worst." She said as she smiled and handed me the sandwich. 

I took a bite of my sandwich as it was amazing. I ate it as she made herself one and sat down with me.

"This is good." I said to her.

"I know, Pat burns the bacon, the toast, pretty much everything. I don't like the turkey he uses, its like a honey roasted turkey or something, I make sure its not burnt or I wont eat it. I guess I am picky like that." She said.

"Me too, half the time Beth makes me lunch, but this is amazing. You used the good kind of Turkey, not that crappy turkey Pat uses." I said as she laughed.

"Yeah I know. I hate Pat's cooking." She said.

"Do you want something to drink?" I asked her getting up to get us some drinks.

"Of course, I will take some water please." She said.

"Sure thing." I said.

I handed her the water as she smiled. We hung out for a while as we exchanged numbers. I told her anytime she needed anything to call. Which I was glad because now we can get to know each other...

She finished up the story as I came back to reality. I looked at her with tears filling up in her eyes, I knew he was so upset that I was leaving her to go down to FL, She headed inside the house and upstairs to get changed and I needed to talk to her so I followed her. I told Beth and Pat I would handle this and its about time I told her I love her anyways. I walked up to the room as she sat there and tried to hide that she was crying.

"Shh Don't cry." I said to her.

"Why not? Not like it matters." She said.

"It matters, what are you talking about? You matter to me." I said.

"Do I ?" She asked as I sat her down.

"Yes you do. You mean the world to me, I love you LC. I have been hiding how I really feel for a long time, I can't live my life if your not in it, I know we will be apart." I said as she looked up at me.

"You love me?" She asked.

"I love you. I have since I met you." I said as I finally felt good to tell her.

"I love you too Petey." She said as I smiled and kissed her passionately. 

She kissed me back and felt the sparks like I knew they were there always. We kept kissing as I put some music on. 

"I want you to listen to these lyrics, this is exactly how I feel about you and I want this to work between us, I know I will be far away, I want you in my life forever." I said as she kissed me so passionately.

I kept kissing her as things between us got heated up. I knew she was a virgin still and for her to give that to me was special. This was going to be one night she will never forget. She kept kissing me and not backing off.

"Are you sure your ready to do this?" I asked her making sure she knows I wasn't pushing her.

"Yes I am, I am ready and I want to , with you its special and you aren't using me for sex." She said.

She wrapped her legs around me as we both got our bathing suits off. I put her gently down on the bed as I kissed her and kissed her every inch of her body. I got on top of her as she grabbed onto the headboard as we just made some passionate sex and I knew this was the right thing to do. She got on top as she kissed me again and every inch of my body. 

"I love you so much." I said to her staring into her eyes.

"I love you so much." She said back as I hugged her and kissed her.

We finished making love as she breathed heavily. 

"I hope you liked it, I am sorry I am so inexperienced." She said.

"You are amazing, and I am thankful that you gave me your virginity, It felt like you were experienced already, or your just naturally amazing at it. I love you more so much even more than anything in this world." I said as she smiled.

"I am going to miss you so much." She said.

"I will call you everyday while your down there, When I come up here I will see you and during school breaks you can visit me down in Florida." I said as she smiled. 

"You got this figured out huh?" She said giggling.

"Yeah maybe, and your glowing by the way. How do you feel? Did I hurt you?" I asked her.

"No way you didn't hurt me , I loved being with you. I am a little sore, I think that would be expected and you used a condom right?" 

"Of course, I am not that stupid." 

"I know your not, just playing safe." She said as I laughed.

"You are so amazing." I said.

"You are so sexy." She said as I kissed her.

"LC are you in there?" Beth and Pat knocked on the door.

"Yeah just a minute!" She said as we both got up quickly and changed into our pajamas. 

LC's outfit:

We got up and opened the door as Beth smiled.

"Are you guys just relaxing?" Beth asked.

"Yep, just relaxing watching a movie." She said.

"Everyone is leaving Petey, so just letting you know." Pat said.

"Ok I will be down in a second." I said.

"Alrighty." Pat said as we got up and headed downstairs.

We said goodbye to every one as I held her hand the entire time to let everyone know I was with her. We headed into the living room to finish watching the movie as we both laid there.

"So Petey, you finally told her thankfully huh?" Beth said laughing.

"Yep, I finally told her how I feel and how I felt for the past 4 years." I said looking at LC and pushing her hair back.

"I told him I love him back since I am meant to be with him." She said looking at me.

"Yeah they are in love." Beth said.

"Yep, they tried to deny it, but couldn't deal with it any longer." Pat said as we laughed.

"We are going to go upstairs and finish our movie, if you don't mind." I said as we headed upstairs to LC's room.

"I love you so much hunny, I am so glad we told each other and got this out in the open." LC said as I laughed.

"You have no idea how happy I am right now to just hold you and be with you." I said.

We snuggled up onto the bed as we watched the movie, we didn't care what movie it was,  we just snuggled and made this night even more memorable... of course our lives wont be the same when I leave, but now I am glad we are together and finally told each other how much we meant to each other.... but for some reason our lives in the next few months will be even more complicated then ever.

Chapter 3 // Listen To Your Heart

I got up that morning as I got ready for school. I felt still somewhat tired from yesterday, but I had a blast. I got up and showered as I got ready.

My outfit:

I got my makeup ready as fixed up my hair. I pulled it back today because it was a cold day. I finished up as I put my outfit into my bag for dance as I headed down to the kitchen.

"Hey sis, good morning." Pat said.

"Hey good morning." I said.

"How did you sleep?" He asked.

"Amazing, slept right through the night I was so knocked out." I said.

"We all did, but that is good." He said.

"I know, is Beth almost ready?" I asked.

"Yep I just had to finish up." She said coming into the kitchen.

Beth's outfit:

"Want to stop at Tim Horton's on the way to school?" I asked.

"Sure, we can grab coffee's and breakfast too." She said.

"Perfect." I said.

We grabbed our gym bags as we said goodbye to Pat. We headed toward the car and into it. She started the car and backed out toward school. We stopped off at Tim Horton's grabbed a few coffee's and Bagels as we sat down to relax.

"It feels so good outside, like the cool weather does." I said.

"I agree, it was way too hot yesterday." She said.

"So I have a date tonight with Ennis and I will go, not sure how it will turn out though." I said.

"Give it a shot, if you didn't have fun and there is no sparks whatsoever then well you know before you get into the relationship itself." She said.

"True, that is a good idea." I said as we began eating.

"Hey girls." Heidi said standing with Gina.

"Hey, sit down and join us." I suggested.

"Sure. What are you girls up to?" Gina asked.

"We are eating before school." Beth said.

"Do you go to Buff State?" Heidi asked.

"Yep, we both do. What about you?" I asked.

"Yeah we do too. We just got signed up for our first day today, we have Algebra first then English." Gina said.

"So do we." I said.

"Awesome." We said as we laughed.

We finished up breakfast we got ready and headed out. We met Gina and Heidi at school as we realized they were in our classes as well.  We walked in as I felt full and ready to learn. Beth sat on the other side of me while Heidi sat next to me and Gina on her side. We took out our text books as we started to do our work. The time felt so slow today and for some reason I tried so hard to wish it would be quicker. The class let out as we headed toward our English.

"Ugh this class is boring." I said as they laughed.

"I agree, this is boring. I hate English." Gina said.

"Hey why don't you guys come to our Dance class?" Beth asked.

"Sure that is a great idea." Heidi said as we walked into our classroom.

We sat down as we took our books and items out. I know this class was going inch and inch by. I already know it. This was going to be long and boring as worst than Algebra. We read 2 chapters and 3 more by next Monday. I was ready for dance as we got up and headed out toward our next class. Beth and I grabbed water as we hit the locker room for women and changed.

We headed into the dance class as Gina and Heidi waited inside to watch. We grabbed our water bottles and kept it near us. I was ready as Beth was too. We warmed up as the teacher taught us some warm up tricks. Of course we started with some gymnastics and all girls in this class. One girl came with an Ennis shirt as I rolled my eyes at Beth as she laughed. We danced to the song "Evacuate the dance floor." by Cascada. It was a fast moving song so we needed to take it in parts. An hour later Beth and I were exhausted from dance, we gulped our waters down as we could barely move.

"Holy shit my legs hurt." Beth said.

"Mine too. I think I need a nap when I get home." I said.

"That is the truth." She said as we walked out.

We head back into the locker room and showered as we finished up. We grabbed our stuff and headed out as we said bye to Gina and Heidi. We headed home as Ennis texted me and said to be ready by 7pm. It gave me plenty of time to nap and shower. We got home as we headed inside.

"Hey Pat!" Beth said.

"Hey sweetie." He said hugging her and kissing her.

"I am going for a quick nap and then a shower." I said.

"Ok night sis." They said at the same time as I rolled my eyes.

"Night." I said heading up to my room.

I took my shoes off as I put my head onto the pillow and fell asleep.


:::: Later that Evening :::

I got up and made my way toward the shower. The time was already 5pm and I needed to get ready and showered. I jumped in and cleaned myself off to wake me up. I got out and blow dried my hair and put my outfit on.

My outfit:

I fixed up my makeup and made my way down as it was already 6:30pm. I walked downstairs as Ennis was waiting for me as I hugged him.

"Wow you look gorgeous." He said as he hugged me.

"Thank you so do you." I said.

"Are we ready to go?" He asked.

"Yeah I am." I said as I smiled.

"Bye guys, have fun." Pat said.

"Bye Pat, Beth, and Petey." I said looking at Petey as he gave me a jealous look.

We walked out and toward his car. We got in as I buckled my seat belt. He drove to Dave and Busters. We arrived as we parked the car. We got out and headed for inside as we both got seated.

"So what kind of meal are you in the mood for?" Tyler asked.

"I am going to think about the burger, with some fries. Sounds really good right about now, what about you?" I asked.

"I am going to get the same thing." He said.

"Do you want to split the Cheese sticks?" I asked.

"Sure, we can split that and Chicken Quesadillas too." He said.

"Sounds very good." I said.

We ordered our drinks and sat there while the lady came back and took our order. We waited for the appetizers to arrive as someone unexpected shows up.

"Oh my god, Tyler is that you?" This girl asked.

"Hello Kristina."

"I thought we had plans tonight, we were going to go out and you wanted to get back together with me. Now your with this tramp?" She asked.

"Kristina, I told you I didn't want to get back together with you." He said.

"Your an ass and I hope you get everything that you deserve coming toward you." She said smacking him in the face then walking away.

"What was that?" I asked.

"An ex girlfriend who wants to get back together with me and I should have never went out with her , it was only once." He said.

"Well lets eat our appetizers." I said rolling my eyes.

We ate as we had nothing to talk about. It was already a bad date to start with. I sat there as we hardly spoke a word.

"Omg! Its Tyler Ennis! I love you, Will you marry me??" The other girl asked.

"Thank you. What is your name?" He asked.

"Mary." She said crying.

"I can sign an autograph for you. Thank you for the offer too." He said as he signed a piece of paper.

"Thank you I love you!!" She said as I got back to my appetizers.

"God this date can't get any worse." He said.

"I know. Maybe this was a bad idea, I rushed into this." I said.

"I agree. The spark isn't there at all." He said.

"I agree with that, I feel nothing. Yeah your hot, but I feel nothing." I said.


We ate our food as he sat back and just looked at me. We waited for our meal as just then , this date was going to get even weirder. My saviors just showed up from this bad horrific date.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Hey." They said.

Beth's outfit:

"Do you guys want to join us?" I asked.

"Sure." They said as they sat down.

Our food came as they ordered as well. I wanted to get home from this weird and irritating date already. I looked at Petey as he sat next to me and I felt better already. I got up and played some games with him as we both had some fun. We got back to the table as Petey , Beth and Pat ate their food.

"Well I am headed home." Tyler said.

"Aww OK." I said getting up to hug him.

He hugged me as he kissed me to see if there was anything there. We both looked at each other and said "Nahh."

"I am sorry, there is just no spark." I said.

"Don't be sorry, hey we tried." He said.

"I will see you around, we can still be friends." I said.

"Exactly.  I will talk to you soon OK?" He said.

"Bye." I said as he left.

I sat down and waited for Beth , Pat and Petey to finish up. They paid for the bill as we headed home. We pulled up to the driveway as I got out. I said good night to Petey as he smiled and headed back inside. I got my pajamas on as I snuggled up to my pillow. My date was horrible, I was glad that Beth, Pat and Petey showed up to save me from the date getting worst. The season was starting soon which means I would lose my best friend for the winter.... and that would hurt me more than I had realized and more than anything in the world.. 

Chapter 2 // When Summer's Gone

I had hoped I would get a good night sleep, but after seeing Joff, I damn well know it wasn't going to happen... I went to sleep anyways hoping that I wouldn't have any more nightmares.

:::: Flashback ::::


I looked at Joff who was sitting there comfortably. He had visited me here in New York City this summer and I was so excited to see him. Things had gotten sour between us and this was a perfect ideal for him to reconnect with me. We had settled in the house as we both relaxed on the couch. 


"LC, you know I am hungry! Make me some food now!" He said as I got up and made him some food.


"Fine." I said.


I made him some lunch as I put it on the table. I sat down to my laptop relaxing as I popped open a drink. I checked my E-mail as I got an unexpected e-mail from my sister. She had found some photos of Joff and thought I should see what he was doing when he was away. I clicked open as I looked and saw pictures of him kissing girls and more girls as I began to get upset. 


"Joff, can I see you for a minute?" I asked.


"Yeah what do you want?" He asked.


"What are these?" I asked.


"Nothing, where did you get those?" He asked.


"Its not important where I got these!! Did you Cheat and most importantly with Jamie??" I asked.


"Yeah so? Its not like we were having sex since you are still a virgin!" He said as I began walking away.


"ITS OVER!! I never want to see you ever again." I said.


"You will not walk away from me!!" He said.


"I will too!" I said as I began trying to pack my bag.


He grabbed my arms and threw me down as he began trying to force himself on me. He smacked me and beat me up until I kicked him in the face enough to get away from him. I then heard my neighbor run into the apartment as they called 911. They had arrested Joff for abuse as they took me to the hospital.. 


"Ma'am do you remember anything at all?" The Dr. said.


"No." I said.


"Do you have anyone you want us to call?" They asked.


"My parents I guess. Dr., will I get my memory back?" I asked.


"Yes you will give it a few days." He said as he got up and called my parents.


They came to the hospital all drugged up, but I was forced to go with them since they live at the apt with me since they pay for everything. I looked at them as they released me, to go home. A few days had passed as I finally got my memory back like the Dr. said I would. I was stuck here in this hell hole and my parents doing drugs non stop. One day I had enough, I called the cops while my parents were home doing their drug and drinking , I had gone out to the store nearby to call the cops as I did. I headed home as the cops were arresting them as they said to bring money to the bail them out. I said I wasn't going to and they can sit and rot in jail. They never loved me in the first place told me all the time they wished I was a boy and for me to NOT be there when they do. I grabbed my stuff and headed out to Beth's in Buffalo where Pat and Beth live. Joff had gotten out on bail and said I better not leave him or he would hunt me down and make sure he raped me.... 


::: END OF FLASHBACK :::

I woke up screaming and crying as Pat and Beth ran into my room. I checked the time as it was almost 6am.

"Are you ok sis?" Pat asked as I cried.

"No. I had a nightmare." I said.

"What happened?" She asked.

"I had the flashback of Joff and my parents." I said.

"Shh your going to be ok. He can't hurt you." Beth said.

"I hope not. I will tear him apart and same with Petey and all of the guys." Pat said.

"I am going to get you some water, I have some medicine to help you sleep a little. Its over the counter Excedrin PM." She said as I nodded.

She handed me the medicine and some water as she laid with me while we looked at TV. I got up and brought the pictures of the 4 of us out as I smiled at the pictures of Petey, Pat, Beth and I.

"Your smiling which means a good thing." Beth said.

"Petey makes me smile with his goofy ass pictures." I said as she laughed.

"He is goofy." She said as we both smiled.

 I finally fell asleep for a few hours to the TV still on. Beth had left my room, but kept the door open in case if I needed her for anything. She is my best friend even though she is my sister, she makes me smile when I need it and she cares about everything that happens to me including Pat too who is like an older brother to me.. I got up so I can get ready for the charity event that Pat is hosting today on the beach... I showered as I hurried up and finished.

I came down to the kitchen as they both smiled at me and hugged me.

Beth's outfit:

"LC how do you feel?" Pat asked me.

"I am doing better. Much better, sorry for last night." I said.

"Don't worry about it, your family. We will be here no matter what for you, you know that." He said as I smiled.

"I made you some breakfast LC, I hope your hungry." Beth said.

"I am hungry, I also need some coffee." I said.

"Sure coming right up sis." She said.

"Thank you for laying with me last night." I said.

"You don't have to thank me. Its what family is for." She said as Pat handed me breakfast.

"Thank you Pat." I said as he handed me the syrup and butter for my pancakes.

"Are they good?" Pat asked.

"Yeah they are. Extremely good." I said.

A while later we got ready and headed to the beach to set up. The people were there setting everything up and I couldn't wait to help. It was a sunny day of course and we were helping with the kids too. Beth and I set up the sound stage for a portion of the singing as Ryan and Drew arrived.

"LC." Ryan said as I smiled.

"Ryan!" I said as I walked over and hugged him.

"You look gorgeous." He said.

"Thank you bud." I said.

"Hey LC." Drew said as I smiled and hugged him too.

"Hey Drew, whats up?" I asked.

"Not much just here helping to set up, are you singing with us?" He asked.

"Of course, I am singing with you guys today." I said as Ryan smiled.

The sun was strong as Ryan put sunscreen on me. Tyler Ennis showed up with Nathan and his Girlfriend Heidi, Andrej showed up with his girlfriend Gina, and Tyler Myers with his girlfriend Jessica. I walked down and hugged Ennis as I looked back at Ryan who was glaring with jealousy as the boy set up, while Beth, Heidi , Gina, Jessica and I all walked toward one of the tents and set up the funhouse for the kids.

"Here is some water LC, you need to drink some." Beth said.

"Thanks sis. I am seriously thirsty." I said.

"So how are things between you and Ennis?" She said.

"Hes good, we are good. We are just hanging out." I said.

We finished setting it up as Gina, Heidi and Jessica were so nice to us. We talked and walked got to know each other and it was nice knowing at least two more people. We had planned a spa day soon for the 4 of us as well. It was perfect day to have this event and most importantly the news crews were out and checking out this event as well as everyone else. Beth had sold out with tickets for this event as well as Jessica so I do know it will be a good thing here. Food and drinks were being given out as a part of the ticket as the kids started arriving with their parents. A few hours later it was packed and we set up for the singing portion. I rested my voice and drank some water to keep myself hydrated. It was around 3pm and it was jammed packed. The daycare workers stayed with the children while they played in the funhouse, the parents were ready to start jamming to some music.

"Ok guys we have an awesome singer, she is amazing, she is gorgeous and most of all the coolest girl I know personally, please give it up for my girl LC!" Derek said as the crowd cheered.

"Thank you to everyone who came out to the event today.. I hope you enjoy the show." I said.

I sang the first song which was According to you originally recorded by Orianthi.. Drew was on the drums while Ryan and I jammed out as he did the guitar work, obviously there was a little more chemistry between us on stage... I loved it. Next up I sang Mr. Immature by Stef Lang and of course everyone was jamming to it all. They donated the money tips to us to help the foundation and it was more anyone had originally thought. I then sang a slower ballad. I grabbed a stool as I sat down next to Ryan who was lead guitarist for this song.  I started singing Bubbly as I kept looking at him, the crowd was really into everything I sang and I felt great singing. The one thing I love doing which was singing. I finished the song up as I got up from the stool.

"Ok I am going to do a duet with one of my favorite hockey players ever. He is the most amazing person out there and pretty much one of the best singers on the team anyways. So please give it up for Ryan Miller!" I said as they cheered.

We began the song as we just sang to each other not even looking at anyone else. We both felt some chemistry, I just had fun with the song. I feel happy with Ryan and for some reason I loved being on stage with him. The day had went on as we raised a lot of money with the singing portion as well as everyone donating with tickets and extra money we had raised for his foundation.

"I just want to thank everyone for pitching in today, it was a great day for my foundation, I want to thank my sister-in-law LC for giving us the best entertainment this group has ever seen... We can find out now about how much we made and raised for this event. Please help me welcome the founder of the HITS charity please help us welcome James and his wife Jamie." Pat said.

"Patrick Kaleta we thank you for all your services you have done for everything for this charity event and we had so much fun here today... " James said.


"Thank you I enjoy raising money for an amazing charity and we have raised 500,358 dollars for the charity event!" He said as they smiled and hugged him.


"Thank you Pat, We really can't say enough about this event and thank you for everything." James said as he smiled.


"Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed this afternoon, I hope everyone had a great time. Thank you and drive safely!" Pat said.


We spent some time cleaning up as the people left, it was a great day and mainly it was definitely a good cause. I was happy I sang for Pat because he means the world to me. I was so excited that this day went so well the first person I thought of was Petey and of course he called so I was excited to hear from him.


"Hey Petey." I said answering my phone.


"Hey LC, how was your event charity?" He asked.


"Amazing, I sang a few songs with Miller and Staffy at the drums. How is packing?" I asked.


"Good. Just packing a few items, are you hanging with Ennis tonight?"


"Probably not why?" I asked.


"Oh no reason. Wasn't sure..." He said.


"Yeah smooth Petey.." I said.


"Shut up dork." He said laughing.


"Make me." I said.


"Fine I will, when I see you." He said as I smiled.


"Don't get mad, but I had a nightmare last night." I said.

"What about hun?" He asked.

"It was a flashback when Joff hurt me badly and when my parents kicked me out." I said.

"Ohhh I am sorry, you should have called me." He said.

"It was the middle of night, I didn't want to wake you up." I said.

"I would have came over dead in the middle of sleep, I would anyways." He said.

"Thanks bud. We are headed home now. Are you going to be there?" I asked.

"Hell yeah." He said as I laughed.

"Alright I will see you in a few minutes." I said.

"Ok bye."

"Bye dorko." I said.

"Hey that is my line." He said.

"So sue me." I said.

"No way dorko. Bye."He said as we hung up.

"Petey huh?" Beth asked.

"Yeah how did you know?"

"You get that look every time he is around or calls." She said.

"I do not." I said.

"Defensive about it too." She said.

"He is my best friend, we are comfortable around each other." I said.

"Uh huh." She said laughing.

"Petey is coming over." I said.

"He is." Pat said as I smiled.


"See that is the look she gets everytime he is around." Beth said.


"He is my best friend." I said.


We got into the car as we headed over there. We arrived as we jumped out of the car as I smiled at Petey who was standing waiting for us.


"Hey you." Petey said as I smiled.


"Petey!" I said.


"Feeling better?" He asked.


"Yep, much better." I said.


We headed into the house as I changed into a bathing suit. Pat figured we can order in tonight and we ordered Pizza for everyone. I headed upstairs and put my Pj's on since I was exhausted.


My PJ's:

I headed down toward the living room and joined Petey, Beth and Pat on the couches.


"LC, you got some sun today, you look so tanned." Beth said.

"I know, my body hurts me so badly." I said.

"You had a big day today LC. Do you need a back rub?" Petey asked.

"Sure." I said as he rubbed my back.

"Feels that good huh?" Beth asked.

"More than you know." I said as he rubbed it.

He rubbed my feet and all as I felt better. It was a rough day being out there. Pat got the pizza as we sat down and ate, we kept our self hydrated and with water all day so we got sodas while the boys drank beer. I heard a knock at the door as Petey got up and answered.

"LC, your boy is here." Petey said with a jealous attitude.

"Hey hun." I said as he hugged me.

"Hey babe, how are you?" He said.

"I am good just really tired right now." I said.

"Ohhh I should have called I am sorry." He said.

"No its ok, i was just hanging out with Petey because I won't get to see him after this week." I said.

"Ohhh ok, I will call you tomorrow then." He said.

"Ok hun, have a good night." I said.

"Sleep well." He said as he left.

I walked back into the kitchen to finish hanging out with Petey, Beth and Pat as they looked at me.

"What happened with Ennis?" Beth asked.

"I didn't feel like hanging out with him, plus this would be the last time I would hang out with Petey so I want to see him at least. I am also very tired too." I said.

"Aww." They said.

"Yeah I don't think Ennis is very happy about it but whatever, he can get over it." I said.

"Not in the mood huh?" Pat asked.

"No way, I am tired, body hurts and I want to see my best friend, plus I don't know, I don't feel any chemistry when we kiss or anything." I said.

"True. You need to have some chemistry, if you don't feel it then why don't you talk to him?" Pat said.

"I will tomorrow, I am too tired today to do it." I said. 

We finished up dinner as we all headed to the living room to hang out.  The door bell rang again as Pat got up and answered it.

"LC, its Miller!" He said.

"Hey Miller , come in and hang with us." I said.

"Hey LC, whats going on?"

"Nothing much just watching a movie. You?"

"Well I wanted to come over and talk to you about singing at my charity event." He asked.

"I would love to, when is it?" I asked.

"March normally, I will let you know if anything. I had a fun time today hanging with you and singing a few songs." He said as I smiled.

"Me too. It was a great day." I said as we smiled.

"Well I am going to go and head home." He said as I got up.

"I will walk you out." I said.

"OK." He said as we smiled.

"Thank you for participating today with us." I said.

"I had fun. There is something I need to ask you, are you dating anyone?" He asked me.

"I am talking to Ennis , but I don't think that will go anywhere." I said.

"Really how come?" He asked.

"I don't know, I don't feel any sparks." I said.

"Maybe he isn't the right guy." He said as we laughed.

"Who knows, I will try on a date with him and see how it goes." I said.

"Well you better call me after and let me know how it went." He said

"Don't worry I will." I said.

"Its getting chilly out here, you better get inside before you get sick." He said.

"Alright." I said as he hugged me.

"Bye." He said as he hopped in as I ran into the house.

I warmed up as they all looked at me as I had to light the fireplace.

"Its freezing out there now." I said.

"Is it raining?" Pat asked.

"Its about to, the winds picked up quickly." I said.

"Wow, sounds like its going to storm." Beth said.

"I am going to head home before it rains, bye guys." Petey said hugging us.

"Bye Petey!" I said as he hugged me tightly.

He hugged us goodbye as he headed toward his house. I looked at the time and it was already 9pm. I wanted to climb into bed for a while since I hardly got any sleep at all. Tomorrow was our 2nd day of classes and dance afterwards and of course it was going to hurt like hell.

"I am going to bed, good night guys." I said.

"Night LC." They said curling up to a movie.

I headed to my room as I climbed into my bed. I knew it was a rough day tomorrow and I couldn't wait for it, but then again going on a date after would be amazing too, but someone would try and ruin it....

Chapter 1 // Grow Up Mr. Immature

I got myself ready for the first day of classes. I couldn't wait to go to them and I love being here. It was good to finally get away from my past and knowing me it would catch up to me soon. I finished up and headed out of the bathroom. I got ready and headed downstairs.

We got ready as Pat headed to the rink to get some practice in. Beth and I had classes to attend and I was so  excited to be living with her. We got into the car as we headed toward classes.

"Are you excited?" She asked.

"Yep." I said.

"I am so happy your living with us." She said.

"Me too, thank you for taking me in." I said.

"Don't worry, we would have done it anyways, we always will support you. Your family and especially to us." Beth said.

"Thanks sis." I said.

"I can't believe mom and dad were that asses and kicked you out. I hate them but I didn't think they would stoop that low." She said.

"I know, they said they wish I was a boy, but yet they love you." I said.

"That is pathetic, they are drunk and druggie asses who should be in jail." She said.

"They are." I said.

"What?"

"They wanted bail money to get bailed out was why they kicked me out." I said.

"That sucks. You are always welcome at our house or at Petey's, you know that. He would take you in without even thinking." She said.

"Thanks." I said as we got to school.

"So ready to go for some classes?" She asked.

"Yep. I really want to take some dance classes too so I signed us up for some." I said.

"Nice. what kind?"

"Some hip pop / pop kind of classes." I said.

"Sweet." She said as we got out of the car and headed for the inside.

"We have the dance classes on Wednesdays" I said.

"Cool. Now we can stay in shape." She said.

We walked into class where the class was starting to get packed, we found two seats in the back as we sat down. We had two classes today and it was definitely OK by us. The teacher came in as we got set.

"Hello my name is Professor Steve Johnson and I will be your teacher for this Semester. Please take your text books out and turn to page 3." He said as we opened it up.

We learned College Algebra for the next hour and of course we were paired up. I was happy I was paired up with my sister because she was the smartest one out of the two of us. We finished up our work as we got up and headed for the next class.

"Sis, Pat wants to know if we want to go for lunch after class with some of the teammates?" Beth asked.

"Sure, I am starving." I said.

"Ok then I am texting him to let him know we are joining him." She said.

"Perfect." I said.

We headed into the 2nd class which is English 101 as we sat down. An hour later we finished learning, I was hungry already as we headed toward the car. We got in and started it as we headed out.

"Where are we meeting Pat?" I asked.

"Chef's." She said.

"Cool. I have never eaten there before." I said.

"I know. That is why he chose that place." She said.

We pulled out and headed down the street toward Chef's. We pulled in the parking lot where the boys were hanging out. I see Andrew Peters, Drew Stafford, Derek Roy, and some unknown guys. The one guy is tall as hell as Beth parked the car. We both got out as I smiled.

"OH My god, is that LC?" Derek Roy said.

"Hey Derek." I said as he hugged me.

"LC!" Drew said lifting me up.

"Drew looking hott as always." I said as he smiled.

"LC, whats going on little sister." Petey said.

"Hey Petey, whats up big bro. Staying funny as always?" I asked.

"Of course you know me, I am always funny." He said.

"Yeah your more of a smartass than anything Petey." Drew said as we walked in.

"LC, this is Tyler Myers, Tyler Ennis and Nathan Gerbe. This is my sister LC." Beth said as I shook their hands.

"Nice to meet you guys." I said to them.

"Nice to meet you too." They said as I smiled.

"Wow Tyler, you are tall." I said as he laughed.

"I get that a lot." He said as I smiled.

"After you pretty lady." Drew said as I smiled.

"Pretty lady, who you calling pretty lady..." I said being sarcastic.

"Get off of it, your gorgeous you know that." He said as I laughed.

"I know I am just messing with you Drew Stafford." I said.

"You are so funny LC." He said as we go into the restaurant and sat down at some tables.

"I try Drew." I said.

"Drew stop hitting on my sister." Beth said as we laughed.

Tyler Ennis pulled out my chair as he sat down next to me. He was so sweet and extremely cute. Drew tried sitting next to me as Petey stopped him as he sat on the other side.

"So LC, welcome to Buffalo." Nathan said breaking the ice.

"Thank you Nathan." I said.

"Are we going to be seeing more of you?" He asked.

"Of course you nimrod, she lives with Beth and Pat." Drew said.

"Drew behave or I will have to call your mother." I said warning him.

"Fine." He said as I rolled my eyes.

"Men, they act like brats most of the time." I said to Beth.

"Your not kidding." Beth said as we laughed.

"So what are you guys doing after this?" Petey asked changing the subject.

"I was thinking maybe hit the pool?" I asked.

"Nice..." Derek said.

"Are you joining us at Pat's house Tyler?" I asked him.

"Sure. If you would like me to." He asked.

"I would love it if you came." I said.

"Myers, Gerbe, you two can come too." Beth said.

"Cool!" They said as we ordered our drinks.

We ordered our food and drinks as we hung out. Our food came as I got the Fried Chicken Salad with Thousand Island dressing. We ate and had fun , we all had conversations about everything as Tyler and I couldn't stop looking at each other. We finished up and headed out as we headed into the cars. We all followed each other going back to our house. We pulled in as we got out.

"So you and Tyler huh?" Beth asked.

"What about me and Tyler? There is no me and Tyler." I said.

"You two are adorable and definitely like each other. He pulled out your chair and you kept smiling at each other. Trust me." She said as I blushed.

"I think hes hot, I don't know much about him yet." I said as I walked up to find the one man I never wanted to see again sitting there on the porch with flowers.

"LC." He said.

"Joff what in the world are you doing here." I said.

"I came here to get you back." He said.

"Get me back, you hit me and cheated on me. I said to you I never want anything to do with you and I suggest you get out of here before my boys come back." I said.

"No, I am not leaving until you tell me you miss me." He said.

"Miss you? You are such an asshole. You need to Grow up Mr. Immature." I said as I kicked him.

Pat and Petey jumped out of the car and told him to get out of here before they use his head as a basketball against the wall. Drew made sure he went back home. Beth got me inside while the boys took him out for trash.

"I can't believe he had the nerve to show up here after what he did to you." Beth said.

"I know, does he think after all he did to me he can get me back? Is he that fucking stupid?" I asked.

"Men I swear can be stupid, I promise not all guys are like him." She said.

"It just made me not want to get back into a relationship, it ruined with any chances I have with anyone else." I said.

"Here put your bathing suit on and we can go lay by the pool or jacuzzi. I can promise you that Tyler Ennis, isn't that way. I know he will prove that to you." She said as I sat down.

I got changed as she left the room as I sat down crying. Why did he have to find me for? Why did he have to constantly stalk me? I changed as there was a knock at the door.

My bathing Suit:

"LC, can I come in please?" Petey said.

"Yeah come on in." I said.

"Are you ok?" He asked hugging me.

"No Petey I am not." I said.

"I can't believe he had the nerve to show up. Didn't he realize that I would rip his neck off?" He said.

"No, but I do know , if you do play that team since he is on the Ducks now, you can beat the shit out of him." I said.

"My pleasure. I would love to do it." He said as he kept hugging me.

I looked down at the picture besides my bed of Petey and I at one of the clubs from the New York City area clubs I had worked for. I looked at it and smiled, which it always does. I looked back at Petey as he laughed at the picture.

"I didn't know you had that picture by your bed?" He asked.

"Of course, it always makes me smile when I need it." I said.

"I am glad." He said.

"Alright lets go downstairs." I said to him as I pulled his arm and headed downstairs.

"LC, are you ok?" Pat said.

"Yeah thanks to Petey." I said.

"Good I am glad." Pat said.

"I hope he doesn't come around again." Beth said coming out in her Bathing suit.

Beth's Bathing Suit:

"He won't as long as she staying here. I will protect her as much as I can." Pat reassured Beth.

I grabbed a long island ice tea that Beth had made for me as I sat down. I got a little sun as both Tyler's, Nathan, Drew and Petey hit the pool.

"Don't worry you will be OK, I promise." Pat said as I nodded.

"I know I will be, he just needs to get it through his head that I don't want anything to do with him." I said.

I turned on my I-pod as the sun beat down on us. We laid there as I took off my earbuds to my I-pod. I put my sunglasses off as I laid there as Petey picked me up and carried me to the pool.

"AHHHH!!" I screamed as he laughed.

"You got shoved!" Petey said.

"Shut up Petey you jerk!" I said laughing.

I got up and out of the pool as he picked me up again but this time we both went in the pool. Beth cracked up until she realized that she was going in with Pat next as she smacked him in the head which caused all of us to laugh.

"Sup guys!" Derek said.

"Hey Derek!" Beth said.

"WOAHHHH dayummmm LC you look sexy and gorgeous in the outfit. Break me off a piece of that." Derek said to me.

"In your dreams Derek." I said as I walked passed him and laid back down.

"Don't talk to her like that, she isn't some piece of fresh meat you can pick up in a hooters place or some strip joint." Tyler said defending me.

"Plus Derek isn't my type anyways so this kit kat bar you think I am , isn't made for you to eat." I said as I put my I-pod back on and my sunglasses.

I put the suntan on myself as Tyler put it on me. I drank my ice tea as the boys got the grill started. A few hours later I decided to get changed. It got cooler as Pat was cooking. I headed up to my room as I walked into it.

I came back downstairs and joined the others as I sat down on the chair. Pat served the food as I smiled.

"This is so good Pat thank you." I said.

"Your welcome sis, anytime." He said.

"Do you want any soda or anything?" Beth asked.

"Sure." I said.

He handed me the soda as Petey sat next to me. Tyler sat on the other side of me as they both smiled as Pat headed inside.

"LC, these are for you." Pat said as I looked at him oddly.

"Who are they from?" I asked.

"Tyler Ennis." He said as Tyler smiled and handed them to me.

"These are for you." Tyler said as i smiled.

"Thank you Tyler they are very beautiful." I said.

"You are beautiful." He said as we headed into the kitchen to talk.

"Thank you so much for these flowers. You are such a sweetheart." I said as I kissed his cheek.

"Your welcome. When your ready to date, I know your not ready yet, but when you are, promise me you will give me a chance." He said as I smiled.

"I will give you a chance, maybe sort of in a few days , but thank you." I said.

"Awesome." He said as he hugged me.

We finished up as I put the flowers in my room so they could smell the room up. I looked at the other pics I have of Petey and I as it made me laugh.

"So you got flowers from Tyler." Petey said.

"Yeah, it was beautiful the flowers." I said.

"Anyways, lets go downstairs before they put out a missing person search party." He said with a bit of jealousy as I laughed.

We headed downstairs as we sat around the patio just hanging out. I grabbed my drink as we hung out. I was tired and of course from the entire day from Joff showing up to classes this morning and having fun in the pool. We cleaned up and headed for inside as Tyler , Tyler and Nathan headed home. Derek was headed out to hang with his brother as well as Drew. Which left me with Petey, Beth and Pat.

"I am going to go upstairs guys. Good night." I said.

"Good night LC." They all said as I smiled.

Tomorrow was going to be a long day with the benefit. I couldn't wait to go and show my support.. The boys were going to be there as well helping out including a band by non other than Staffy, Roy and Miller, of course I would perform a song or two that I said I would so I had to make sure I had enough rest. I changed into some pajamas as I jumped into bed and headed to bed for the rest of the night.. What was my life going to be like coming up? I will realize within the next few days that my life isn't always so peachy and the one person I was going to miss the most isn't going to be around when I need a friend to talk to....
